Welcome to Directly Positive. It’s an expansion of my blog
empire (yes, my third blog ;) ), a peek behind the workings of my direct sales
business, and a relentlessly positive resource for other direct sellers and
entrepreneurs.
Why have I started Directly Positive? In part, because I’m surely
annoying my husband and my mother with all I have to say about direct sales. I
know you’ll find something of value in my experiences, my review and promotion
of different direct sales trainers and programs, and my interviews with other
direct sellers.
Direct selling is here to stay. I define direct selling as
businesses which are typically relatively easy to get involved with for people
(primarily women) who then sell/promote specific products that they hopefully
love. One can work full-time or part-time in direct sales, and many even just join
a company for a discount on products they’re always purchasing. Direct sales is
essentially selling products and programs directly to individuals. In my case,
and frequently in my posts, I’ll be talking about party plan businesses – where
business is primarily conducted at in-home parties.
Why am I the right person to tell you about this? I’ve got
roughly 15-years experience in direct selling/party plan businesses. And I’ve
been successful with both of the companies I’ve chosen to partner with in that
time. I LOVE to share what I’ve learned, fun stories, and the benefits that can
be gleaned from this type of business.
Welcome to Directly Positive! Let me know what YOU would
like to see here.
P.S. - Are you passionate about direct sales? I’m looking to
interview people from different companies. While I want to hear some about your
company, I also want to talk about what your ‘universal truths’ are for success
– what works for you that you think will work for others, regardless of the
product they represent. Leave a comment and I'll be in touch!
